TransPORT Stakeholders Luncheon

More than 70 people gathered at the Chateau on the Lake in Pekin for the 2009 Fall Stakeholders Luncheon sponsored by the Heart of Illinois Regional Port District.  The featured speaker was John Fulton from Horizon Wind Energy Company.  Fulton spoke about wind energy, the benefits of it and why this region is ripe for the industry.  Pekin Mayor Rusty Dunn also spoke to attendees about the future of economic development in Pekin.
